3rz swap and keeping battery in stock location?
« on: Jan 13, 2009, 06:36:53 PM »
I blow at wiring thats why i ordered a Ors harness for my 3rz swap in my 87 pickup. But since i have a adjustable porportioning valve, psc ps reservoir and evap canistor i dont have enough room for either the battery or the evap canistor on the drivers side. I have 2 3rz battery harnesses. Is there a right up on doing this? Do i just need an isolator on the drivers side and run the leads from the battery to the isolator? What about the charging circuit?
Thanks

88-Pathy I was about to suggest that he goes to the 3rz post, but your pics took care of that!

Ive looked at the 3rz knowledge database and i have never seen anything in regards to keeping the battery on the passenger side. Its not a matter of room on the passenger side but getting the alternator harness to reach from the driverside to the battery on the passenger side and how to istall the charging curcuit. I know the 3rz Offroad solutions harness is designed to move the battery to the driverside. And i am keeping my factory fuse box and NOT swapping in the 3rz fuse box so i am not sure if that makes a differnce. Plus i dont have room to run dual battery's like in the picture.
