well needless to say f-in saweet

how is the wheelin in south dakota? is it mostly rocks and trails?
the wheelin is great! lots of tight technical trails. we run lots of old washed out ravine type areas. dry riverbeds also comprise alot of our trails.  lots of big loose boulders and rock, trees etc.  here is a couple pics, sorry i dont have alot.

so when you built your cage was it guess and check or do you have a program that you designed it on?
cause that cage is close to tight to the body and very clean!!!

yes it is as close to the body as i could get it!!  no i didnt use a program, i guess you could call it guess and check  lol.   i actually built most of the cage with a buddy while i was going to college at Wyotech.  we used a manual mandrel bender.  basically we took measurements and angles on the truck and bent accordingly!  and thanks for the comments!  i am eventually going to redo the front because i dont like my approach angle and the rear section of the frame is going to be rebuilt and four linked.  i really like the way the main portion of the cage around the cab turned out though.  not too bad for my first one!

wyotech wasnt too bad.  needless to say the chassis fab class was deffinately the most fun!  i was actually able to use my truck as my final project and it was a pretty large portion of my grade.  the only thing that sucks now is paying 200 bucks a month for 15 years until my school loans are paid off  :reg:

 you pretty much summed it up!!  i went november 2004 through july 2005.  Laramie does suck for the most part, but luckily i actually had alot of friends from UW so it made partying and whatnot a bit more fun. my buddies and i actually ended up going to parties with girls instead of the usual "techer" party! lol I also rode freestyle BMX alot during college and i lived about three blocks from Laramie's surprisingly good skatepark.

it is like 42000 to go to UTI for the diesel and automotive program for a 18 month course. and you can go back threw it as many times you want threw out life and dicount on snap on tools, other then that the only difference is that uti has dealership spicification tranning and wyotech gives you the over view of dealer ship training. that is what wyotech and uti recuiters told me.

i started oct of 05'. ya we hit up the skate park a few times, we would bring the snow skate when it snowed. having friends with you makes it alot better, there was a total of 7 of us from high school that went, i graduated a year before them so they were all good friends, i had problem with a couple though. i remember we went to a UW (university of wyoming) party (my friend met a chick that went there) and some girl walks up to my friend and asks what school he goes to. he tells her wyo tech and she turns around and walks away with out saying a word.

well price and everything sounds about the same.  we got a discount on Snap On stuff too, but i never bought anything!  i think after the discount i could still buy craftsman stuff for cheaper and i have never had a problem with there tools.

Dude i know exactly what you are talking about!  that same :pokinit: happened to us sometimes too. even if you got into a decent conversation with some of the dudes from UW they would be cool until they find out you go to tech.  then they would just walk away and not talk to you anymore!  its unbelievable!
