As stressed as I am with loosing my job in July Im still on the right track with not smoking  :biggthumpup:  :clap2: its gonna be a long year  :down:

Way to go!  I quit cold turkey in 2001, and I can tell you it gets easier and easier.  Context is everything, and you sound like you're able to pull the trigger and change your environment when you need to.  Keep it up!

well ive gone about 36 hours without smoking. some may think whats the big deal, but for me after smoking 2 packs a day for so long i couldnt got hours without a smoke. i told myself if i coud go 1 day then i could go forever. hopfully i dont give in cuz its too expensive.

and im already tired of gum, i dont think ive stoped chewing gum since i stopped smoking

its sooo hard its all i think about.
i dont know whats worse the cravings or how ashamed i would feel if i started back up. i told myself that i would not quit untill it was for good.
