I know it's been awhile, but do you any of you have any updates or pictures?

What years and models can you get the CIS parts from?

I have Myron's system on my truck also. I live close to sea level, and when i went to Moab I had to try and compensate for the altitude. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue. Also when I was at real step angles it seems like the air plate would start to float on me and I would get more fuel when i didn't need it (run rich). Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Mine gave me crap my first time at a higher elevation.  I adjusted it while I was there and it took care of it.  It didn't seem to through things off when I went back down to '500 seal level.

I have often wondered about being at to steep of an angle if that effected it in my Toy.  There isn't really any way to stop that from happining if it does.

I've been driving my truck daily and it runs fine but I still feel I'm not getting the most out of the system.  I adjust it to where it isn't running rich (white towel over exhaust) and eventually it starts stinking and running rich again.  When I'm crawling for a while and then stomp on it it dumps out black smoke like it's super rich.  I'm not the best at tuning and haven't messed with the airplate after doing the nickel adjustment and Myron was saying that everything needs to be adjusted together including adjusting the height of the airplate and the co screw.  Are any of you running that rich/lean solenoid bypass line?  Does it make it easier to tune?  What's your thoughts on power gains with the system?  I'm not getting any more power than my weber if anything a little less so it must be out of tune :headshake:

so today I blocked off the vacuum on the outer side of the throttle body and ran my timing near 14 degrees tdc and it's running better (my vacuum is much stronger 15 to about 20).  I got a max timing now of 44 at 5-6 grand and no pinging.  I wanna find out about going with a larger throttle body or boring it out. Any thoughts on this?  What timing are you guys running?  How is it pulling hills I wanna be able to pull them in 4th and do 55mph but with the weight of my fishing gear and passengers i'm still struggling.
