Need front leaf springs
« on: Dec 08, 2008, 08:59:31 AM »
I'm looking for a set of front leaf springs for my 83' Yota 4x4 p/u with standard cab.
Like to have a set of new or lightly used springs with a 2 1/2" or 3" lift and any other related components for installing. I'm located in N.Calif.

If you want originals that are in excellent shape I have some.  They would work great with shackles.  FYI.  If interested pm. Thanks
bfg KM2's, 3" plain lift, detroit in front hp, twin sticking too.

Thanks guys and sorry for the slow reply, I haven't been online much lately.
I have stock springs in pretty good shape, just need a bit of a boost in height.
I think 4" may be a tad more than I am looking for. Good price though, thanks.
3" isn't bad, just need both sides to match. :)
I've check all over and can't find any sets in the 2"-2 1/2".
I'm buying new tires in 31/10.50/15 so I don't need much lift, just enough to insure clearance.
Thanks again.

You don't need a lift to run 31's. You can do an add-a-leaf or shackles.

TallChevy. I've thought about the add a leaf and went looking for something made just for the front and found nothing. I wonder if a add a leaf made for the rear would work or find something from the wrecking yard that fits?
