1981 toyota front leaf springs

hey everyone im omar i just joined n im looking forward to learning alot from all u that have already been in the 4x4 toyota game.. i have a 1981 toyota 4x4 pick-up 22r,i love this truck to death i looked for this truck for a long time and finally found it n got it for 400 dollars.. it has 91k miles, it has the wobble cuz of the allignment or at least i thought, so i went and got an alignment for it but it still continues to shake at like 35 miles.. i came to the conclusion that it might be the front leaf springs
cuz they look shot out straight.. but im not sure, and does anyone now where i can purchase factory stock at a good price.?? [/img]

check front bearings and steering components. may want to look into a Marlin front axle rebuild kit. The reason I suggest this is my front springs are flat as hell, negatively arched there so worn out, but I have no wobble.

yep  you have "death wobble"  and i'll bet you need new trunion bearings

damn!! sounds like i have some work,thanks for the info im definitely going to look into it.. i cant really use my rig the way i want cuz of this, would any of u know where i can go for some DIY info???  O!! n thanks for welcome..

get yourself a repair manual for your truck.

ya a repair manual would be a very great tool to have.. they have a 79 to 84 toyota 4x4 manual at autozone n im most likely going to get it.. thanks
