A Little Update:

Yanked the 20r out of the truck for the 3rd and last time. Got a Few thing left to do to the 22RE before I throw it in. Basically just have little stuff to do in between saving for Propane and My turbo set up.

Finally Fixed my Rear suspension.The springs were way too soft, and when I mounted my driver side shackle hanger it somehow ended up being 1/2" off so my shackle angle was all messed up and uneven on each side.





Main leaf- Taco 2wd rear
2nd leaf- Taco 2wd rear
3rd leaf- Toy Rear
4th leaf-cherokee 2nd leaf
5th- cherokee 3rd leaf

Recycled the Cherokee spring clamps. I hate when my leafs helicopter.

Picked up a Garrett T3/To4 .42 trim for $80, externally wastegated, oil cooled only.

So the 5mge throttle body is a direct bolt up? Never heard of anyone doing that. I'd like to try that myself...

I thought the throttle body swap wasn't going down? i'm curious to see what it would do on a gas truck without a turbo

But yes it does bolt up.
Stock is 55mm, 5m is 60mm

how are you gonna run the oil line for the turbo? drill into the block? or nut-sert into the oil pan?

T off the oil pressure hole on the passenger side of the block for the feed line.
and a 1/2" Npt bung is gonna be welded to the pan for the return.

would work best/easiest with propane. Since you can block off all the vacuum stuff, and not worry about swapping and wiring the TPS. I got mine off a Cressida. I hear there are two different types of 5mge TB's

Got the truck in the garage finally. Im re-doing most of the wiring. Im never happy with it. Plus I rushed it a little when the truck first went together. Plus Im making a new dash panel(center) for switches, stereo, and some other stuff. Finally got some rock lights on the truck: 1 front, 1 rear, and 2 in the center. Just cheapo Harbor Freight Lights Ive had for awhile. Putting a tilt column out of my buddies runner in this Biatch. That should be fun. Just little stuff to keep me busy while Im saving for propane and a Mojave heater from jegs..

Well got my center dash piece done. 2 switches for rock lights, 1 for wipers, 1 for heater, and 1 for the fan. and my new keyed ignition since the column I have doesnt have one.



Fabbed up a battery tray for the engine bay. Didnt like the idea of leaving my $100 battery in the bed for someone to walk off with.





and a few of the tilt column. booger welds included.

Time for an update. Getting lots done but I forget to take pics, Id rather just work, since it takes me 10 years to get something done anyway.


Got the half doors done, only have one pic.


Took out the All-Poo main leafs and threw in some toy rears. Moved the axle forward 2 inches. Now my drag link and tie rod hit so..

Got some new headlights. Just some H4's from baxters that have running lights built in. I got some red bulbs for em
They are really bright for only having some $10 ricer bulbs in em. Still need to wire the outers.
