  4th one will be here tommorow... :headscratch:

Need to trim a wee bit..

Pretty lame..Fedex didn't even knock on my door when they dropped these off. They just set them right in my driveway, and I live on a somewhat busy street. Don't like the idea of 1k worth of tires just sitting in my driveway waiting to find a new owner..

Eh who cares i have sick tires now!!

GrenadedToy

Started shaving my rear housing..

Got my crossmember in too but its raining right now so pics of that will be later..

Trying to decide if I should just order the 17x8s with 4" BS then get spacers if I need too. If I custom ordered the wheels for 3.75" it would be like a month and a half before I saw them..

Anyone run 4" BS???? lol

coods

thos tires look sick.  youll have to see the 38.5s on the datsun

slabcs

I've ordered two sets of those Cragars in 17x8 with custom backspacing.  It's only taken about a week each time.  I say get the backspacing you want the first time so you're not messing with spacers to get the width you want.
Relentless

GrenadedToy

I guess I can get 17" pro comp rock crawler wheels with 2.5" BS and I saw the datsun it looks mean

???

i would try and get the 2.5" b.s. just because you probably wont have to run spacers cause i dont and mine are 2.5" :gap:

maybe buy the 2.5" and if its gonna take forever to get them maybe buy some cheap 17's off craigslist to use for mock up then you can put your weld on's on your rims when you get them

GrenadedToy

Should slide nice  :yesnod:

Still need to finish the inside and make diff armor. Just taking my time cause I really don't feel like buying another housing.
Needs a few welds finished and black paint.. Thinking about a skid plate for the bottom.

toyotanner

sweet progress

but with you wanting to drive this most the time i wonder if your rearend will hold enough fluid to cool the gears properly :dunno:

TheCookieMonster

Great build, love the four-eyed trucks. You ever thought about doing a flatbelly before you got that x-member?

Lookin' good!!   :beerchug:

thanks man.

and yeah I thought about doing a flatbelly but too much work and this crossmember offered more protection, but I still  need to add a plate to the bottom of it.
