Just wondering what you guys carry on yours rigs as far as spare parts, tools, fluids, first aid, ETC... im trying to get my truck setup with everything i could possibly need. Thanks  :turtle:

Thats all i can remember right now, I know there is more, but my brain isn't remembering too much right now. Yes I carry all of this everyday. No I don't want anyone telling me to take it all out.

oil. couple rags under the hood...spill kit I got at MCR last year...calculator..misc toyota tech info...small bag of tools, small metric socket set.  usually some driveline bolts and a open circuit relay in there too.stock toyota jack. and a lug wrench. fuses in the glove box...

or did you mean wheeling, not just while DD?

currently, i dont have near what i need to....

i have a small $5 socket set i got @ autozone (actually is great neck brand, and has a 3/8" drive with 8/10/12/14 mm sockets plus others) also carry a knife, and a gerber multi tool... fuses

also have a diagram of the under hood fusebox and of the driver's kick fuse box



no spare tire or anything...... :eek:

wheeling, my truck can not be driven on the street. looks like i needs a few things still, I have tools, fluids, first aid kit, litte shovel, axe, high lift, and some spare birfs.  KDXSR5 looks like your pretty set i need alot more stuff  :yesnod:

tons of metric tools and random tools
spare fluids
food/water/beer
a knife
a gun (sometimes)
spare starter, alternator, oil cap, radiator cap gas cap, radiator hoses, fuses
chainsaw and 2.5 gallons of gas

spare tire/star wrench and hi lift jack (everyone needs all 3!)

Everytime I get some gouges in the paint or some srapes on my bumpers I throwsome paint on them so I wont worry about them rusting. Plus i get bored sometimes and just whip out some spray paint and paint stuff. :dunno:

haha, no, more like... Oh look that tractor needs some paint. Stuff like that. I wish i had the artistic skills to be a good tagger, there is some real nice artwork out there made with spray paint.

thats funny ok...i was just asking because i have some spray paint in my toolbox too and im not sure why its there....thought maybe you would know KDX  :smack:

Nope, i use PAM cooking spray for that. its a trick I learned when I used to race the KDX. I actually keep the turtle wax around to wax my tailgate about once a month because it no longer has a clear coat on it, and keeping wax on it retains the color so it isn't all faded.

We figure out how many we have in our group & decide what we are going to bring for that trip. That way we each travel as light as possible but we have enough to do a trail fix if needed.

This is a good idea, but I tend to travel alone a lot, so i need to carry everything and be REALLY heavy!
