Thanks Man!  :beerchug: I'm looking forward to beating the hell out this truck! All the local trails close to the house have grown up this in the passed three years, did some brush busting yesterday, unit I plowed through a massive hornets nest!!! :o They were swarming all over the truck, I'm glad I installed a new set of shifter boots.

No, not done yet, still deciding how I want to finish it out. I'm wanting to make room for the spare, coolers, and camping gear. I've got some 1"x1" tubeing and expanded metal I'm thinking of using for some short sides.

Nah, there not in the way, if anything the spare is. I'd like to come up with a better way mounting it.

what was wrong with the 86 that you decided to toss its body? and what was up with the 2wd? i would have kept both and built up the 86 with SAS, etc, and had a 2wd to drive around

but the end result looks good too

The 86 was in bad shape, cab was completely rusted out, floorboards gone. It's wiring harness was a complete abortion of oil soaked wire nuts and electrical tape. The 94 2wd had been totaled in the ass end, bed destroyed and frame tweaked. It was my DD for a couple of years, I loaned her to my dad one weekend that's what I got back! I'd been wanting a third gen sas, so there was my big chance!

Thanks Man! I'm going to be moving the shakle mounts about 3" to the absolute rear edge of the rear bumber/crossmember hopefully this weekend.

Yeah their chevies, I'm taking a cut-off wheel to the overloads tomorrow, I left them on there to act as pretty much a 1" lift block, I'm also re-mounting the rear shocks in the 1st gen style.

Moved rear spring hangers, overloads, and one leaf per side. Flexes nice. Still working on moving the steering box and swapping out front springs.

In the last month, I've moved the steering box up and forward, installed toy rear springs up front with bud built bannana shackles, made a square tube front drive shaft and made up some new shock mounts for the rear end.

I also installed a set of Honda Prelude buckets, and swapped in a brake booster from a T-100, wow what a difference that made on braking!

man that thing is nice. for some reason i love the way 2wd fenders look on a built rig.

flatbedtoy

Thanks All  I don't have any descent wheeling picts of this rig right now, somehow I always forget the camera, or have dead batteries, ect.  :blah: Going on a good trip the 1st weekend of Nov, should have some good picts after that.
Anyway, started on front bumper and stinger, moved front shock hoops forward to match the new front axle position and trimmed out the fenders to match.
