I highly doubt that 1" is going to kick up huge rocks and still manage to get by my massive mudflaps. How bout you don't pregnant dog about me bitching that in return results in more bitching. I am getting the ticket signed off so don't be such a hypocrite and if it really pisses you off that much go punch a midget or something.

i just skimmed through your build. truck looks really good!  do you have the CV style driveline in the back now?  because if you do the angle looks great!  if you just have regular u-joints on each end then your pinion flange needs to be parallel with the output flange on the t-case to have the proper setup.

Just my  :twocents:  .. I have heard that your better off with a 1 pc shaft than goin with a 2pc/cv shaft. u have to 2 more things to worry about breaking on your d-shaft besides u-joints now. The carrier (which should only need to be greased and inspected periodically and a 3rd u-joint. Anyway..just putting it out there.

Dont try to shift into 6th when u've only got a 5spd! Rubberside down doesnt always mean rite side up!

just depends on the angle of the dangle, whether you need a cv or not.

I think that should be good then. I just dropped off a d-shaft to a buddy and he told me to bring a 1st gen shaft that was 1 piece becuz he was replacing the stock shaft that had a carrier. I guess to each their own. Im very happy with my 1 pc.

If anyone cares, I bought a 4.88 3rd with a  detroit for 200 bucks....with a broken pinion gear!
and I just got back from 4wheel parts with 5.29s with setup kit front and rear!
The detriot will go in my rear to get rid of being welded!    the gears I bought are genuine gear, we will see they have lifetime warranty!

Joey-

We have the bumper finished. If you are able to swing by here then that would be sweet, otherwise I can bring it up with me tomorrow for Moonlight Madness. Let us know! Thanks-

what? i talked to BM personally last fall and he said they wouldnt fab them special.

We have been working on improving our ability to make body lift bumpers and such (as we are asked this a lot) and are trying out some new strategies now. This isn't to say that we can or even will make special bumpers, it just means that if we have to make one then we are better equipped to do so now than in the past. But if a ton of people start asking for them then we will stop making them :ack:
