My rig is the same...other than my rear axle...drving with welded rear end elongated my rear spring perch hole, now my axle kicks back and forth  
I should have started another thread for the grey one yea i pulled the motor out...pretty messy, now im stuck, i wanna do a motor rebuild, tore it pretty far down cant get the F!@#$%# crank pulley off, i have tried almost every thing....and im looking for a engine harness, thats kinda what holding me up

well long story, i havnt paid for it yet, it one of my grandpas old customers, the dad died and was the regist owner, the son drove the piss out of it, caught fire and didnt care, like 200 bucks, i havnt paid for it yet, im just working on it, ill pay him after x-mas...Im in desperate need of a engine harness!!

the owner of his estates if responsible for it now i believe.

I swaped out my welded rear 3rd...couldnt take driving welded anymore...i can swap it back in for the next trip if needed...i think 4runners are heavier in the rear...it was a pain

cool....i stripped the motor out of the grey one down to bare block last weekend, hopefully soon place an order with EB and find that harness, i found fenders and hood local, money is tight right now

the cam was shot, so probly just a cam and basic rebuild kit with pistons .20 over...ill get the 261 degree again, im happy with it, sure hope i pass smog with it though, they say it will. i wont order for a while though, that will be like 500 bucks i think, need to save

Its been a while, but anyways, The grey 87 i put on hold, would cost to much to get back to running condition.
I put the nice luxury seats, and gonna put the dash pad with inclino meter in, once i get some free time. Im just gonna use it for parts maybe sell some things off it...anyone need an auto trans? few pics

Dude maybe if you had actually ever built a truck besides roll one around inside your garage you might understand. I have huge mudflaps, that I have no problem with. But the 1" of my tire that sticks out from the fender? Come on, do I really need to waste money I don't have and make my truck look gay to cover that 1" of tire? Its not like I am driving a buggy around and getting butthurt about a fix it ticket. If my tires stuck out a ton I wouldnt have a problem with it. But they don't.
