Thats an sweet SAS. Nicely organized.
1st gen yota truck. 37x12.5x15. 5spd dual cases, chevy springs in rear, toyota rears springs in front. Long bed....the list never ends..
Dont try to shift into 6th when u've only got a 5spd! Rubberside down doesnt always mean rite side up!

Joey88RUNR

Does this angle look ok?...my friend did the measurements alll right i think...maybe not....the noise im hearing may be coming from the slip in the front of the drive line :dunno:

Maybe he's trying to point the pinion down instead of up????

In post #10 he cut off the rear perches & welded new ones for pinion angle.

I would've left the stock perches on & tried it first then go from there  :twocents:

I have run into this problem as well after cutting off my perches and re-welding...its hard to guess exactly how much the springs will settle or not....changing the angle every bit they settle down...not much...but just enough to vibe
