got the cases in, just need to make a cross member now.

here is what I got for the steering. just needs to be lengthened about an inch.

trying to figure out the drive shafts now. how much spline shaft should be showing with truck at ride height?

Yeah I was trying to get as much done as I could before vacation. not sure yet about the crossmember, im going to try and make it as flatbelly as possible but well see.

that's the same thing I said. the problem is the motor would be at a bad angle and the oil wouldn't distribute right. Ill have to lift the motor, which means the motor mounts will have to be re fabbed, which means the hood would have to go.

got the flat belly started, bunch of cutting went through 3 cut off wheels.

but here is the problem, the motor is about 7deg. to high in the back.

yeah, a lot of guys with stock motors have left the mounts alone. But from what i've been told the chevys need to be level.

Man looking good. sucks about the body lift though. but i've got the same deal. eventually i'll cut out the tranny tunnel but i don't want a hood scoop. :confused:
