Actually all you need to make some half doors is a sawzall or an angle grinder. I don't have much in terms of sheet metal fab skills and I suck at welding, but I made some half doors using 2x4s and self tapping screws to fill in the middle without having to weld or mess too much with the sheet metal. Not fancy by any means, but they work and cost me hardly anything to make. The pics are in this post somewhere. Some day I will get better at welding and make some classy ones like Talon's, but until then these do their job.

I beg to differ, I think the best mod you did to your truck was put that sticker on the drivers door under the mirror

hahaha That's not a sticker......I made that stencil and air brushed it. My kiddo called this truck "Mario" from the day I brought it home because it "was" red at one time. And it just stuck.
