Will there be a place near the end of the trail for us who do not have on board air, to air up our tires for the Long drive home?     :help:  :driving:

I don't think there is a place to air up at the end of the trail so you may have to borrow someone elses CO2 or onboard air. You can build a pretty simple CO2 setup for about 120 bucks with the regulator, hose and fittings.

superyota

last year, before i got my CO2 setup, i just drove into south lake and aired up at the gas station in town.  it wasn't bad. only about a 25-30min drive.  i always help a fellow wheeler out, i'm sure everyone is willing to also.

ONLY 28 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!! :driving: :bananaguitar: :camping:

I have a question!

i wont be able to find out if i can go until late august. would i still be able to just show up and pay the 40 dollars and participate in the events?

I'm in the same exact boat. I still haven't heard back from the state of CA if I'm going to be taking the Professional Engineering Exam in October...If I've been bumped to the April 09 exam then I'll be able to attend. I didn't know if I should send my payment in or what...so if I show up with $40 will I be OK to do the run with you guys? I wish I had a way to have them let me know sooner!

Get you an MV50 compressor at Costco or the link for $50 bucks. At 5000 feet I can go from 10 to 30 psi in my 37's in 4 minutes a tire. I've been doing this after every run for 2 years now. It's small and compact and for the price you can't beat it!

As far as I know unless they want the saturday night meal ticket ($10) they don't have to pay for anything. The registration fee covers your rig and anyone in it, they will probably just have to sign something when they get there.

Have them sign the waiver portion of the registration and mail it in with a note that it needs to be added to yours.  I did this for the 2nd passenger.
