Will there be on-site registration as well? I would be coming from Colorado, and still need to build my rig(starting this week I think). Just can't commit until the week before, and doubt you will get the registration by then.

Register, and if you can't go, call it $40 well spent, donated to the land use groups   If you wind up not showing, they'll mail you all your stuff, a bunch of stickers, dash tags, t-shirts, etc.  :yesnod:

is the round up truely kid friendly?

For the most part.  The main gathering on Sat night is usually pretty relaxed and kicked back, its the individual groups that go nuts.  :yesnod:

To those that have already registered I am missing 2 t-shirt sizes: one is for Blake S. and one is for Michael R. You know who you are.  ;) Your registration includes your t-shirt, so I need to know your sizes. :)

Also, yes the Round-up has always been kid friendly. However, this year we are trying to plan some kids games on Saturday at the Springs. Hope everyone is there early. :yesnod:

Looking forward to seeing everyone there this year.

Like I said, call the shop.  I'm betting they'll tell you to send it in, and then call with the DL# once you get it.  You may have to have your dad sign the release of liability for you, I'm not sure.

The question here is will you be driving a rig? I understand we all learned how to drive in our pops rig when we were 12, but remember this is a recognized road and just like driving down the street in front of your house, it is illegal to operate a vehicle without a drivers license.

We do not recommend minors to operate vehicles on public roads. Can you get a parent or a friend who is legal to operate a vehicle sign as the primary driver and you tag along with him?

My understanding, is that he is talking about 2 slightly different issues.  1) he is a minor, as in under 18, so he can't sign the liability form.  2) he won't have his license until after the registration deadline, but before the round up (birthday is in Aug if I remember right) so he isn't sure how to register, since he won't have his DL by the deadline.  He will have it by the roundup

i will be licensed and legal by sept 12, but not before july 31. my birthday is in august so its right between times. i may just ride over with a friend instead until next year when i got some more experience with the rig  . i dont fully understand what you are saying, :dunno: i will be licensed though BM, thats not an issue.

Isn't your drivers license number on you learners permit? Just send in the form and money with that number on it.

I'm only 17 right now (Will be 18 in Aug.) and I sent in my registration and money already. I've also had my license since I was 16.

Hey, i was just wondering what exactly would you be doing here? I know about the rc stuff and everything, but is there a 1:1 trail ride or is it just a hangout thing? I am 16 and am thinking of doing this with my dad. I know Sam and 51504rock from RCC... Sam if you read this, its Norcal with the red jeep. I'll talk to my dad and see if we can make it.

Oh and i do have a liscense.

This is a marlincrawler customer appreciation event that they've held for several years now.  You don't have to run marlin stuff on your rig to enjoy the trip though.  Simply pay your registration, and you can go.  It is a trail run through the Rubicon, at least to Rubicon springs.  They have a dinner, raffle, and this year games and R/C comps on Saturday.

i was wondering is it 40 dollars a person or a rig

Wermz84

40 for Driver and rig.

you can stuff as many people in your rig as you can fit.  But if you want them to eat at the main meal include $10 for each person.  So I paid $50 for two people and two meals.

:yesnod:

the count down continues.  :woohoo:
