You should carry that color combo over to the rest of the truck, that :pokinit:'s sick!
It was just crazy to see this deer leap all suicidal style off this embankment right in front of us.

Pretty close to being done.  I plumbed in all new brake lines today and bench bled the 1 ton master cylinder.  The crawler now has the biggest brakes of all the vehicles in my driveway.  I gotta mount the steering ram and trailer it to the shop for lockers and gears, a few minor cosmetic things and it'll be back on the trail.

Paint soon...i'm gonna go shopping for some mask tape and a few lil odds and ends to plumb in for air today.  I got a ton of gloss black from work I'm gonna use.  The flat black looks really good at first but the sun makes it look :pokinit: after a while.

Yeah I forklifted it on the barrel.  Anyways...something in the electrical system is keeping my AC pump from kicking in.  I think it's the OEM switch in the dash is bad.  The switch lights up, but no power to the pump.  So I cut the wire to the pump and went direct with 12v and the clutch kicked right in and it started workin.  So I'm just gonna wire in my own switch to the dash.  I didn't get any plumbing done today since I was trying to troubleshoot that.  And I noticed my power steering belt has flipped itself upside down and also jumped pulley!  It decided it wants to be upside down and run off the crank pulley that runs the AC pump.  SoI put it back in it's place, I'll have to watch that.  As expected theres gonna be alot of little bugs to work out.  My new front shocks have shown up, I'm just waiting on shock tabs and I'll get some dampeners on the front.  It's comin along really good.

Got the paint on yesterday.  It's too glossy right now, it'll look better all dulled up and scratched.  Pulled the front shaft today in preparation for lockers and gears.  On board air is all taken care of.  It's just patiently waiting on the trailer ready to go up to ORD.

DO NOT BUY ONE FROM ANY PLACE BUT TOYOTA OR NAPA! all other places only sell one size belt and it is 1/16-1/8in TOOOO WIDE and almost an 1in TOO LONG!!

I almost got in a fatal accident because of this.
I went through 3 belts before i took it in to the Toyota Shop and they sepnt hours and getting specs from everyones belts and determined NAPA sells the correct belt.

it all started when I was doing 70mph on a 6% downgrade and my PS belt flipped and jumped off. It shredded all three of belts... and when it all shredded and went flying around under the hood. it tore through my alternator sensor wires and deadlocked my engine at 70mph and locked my whole truck up and sent my flying into the ditch.

So I HIGHLY recommend you ditch that belt all together! Go with someone else.

It's all good now.  I didn't wanna say anything but upon closer inspection it appears I put the ps pump belt in the crankshaft pulley that turns the ac pump...it got all mixed up since I wasn't running an ac pump.  When i did the onboard air i figured it out.  The front end flexes great...when I picked up a rear corner to flex the front my camera died so this is it.  I got full stuff and full droop on both front corners.

The back of the sky spring hanger is mounted flush with the front of the frame crossmember.  I had to weld it to the subframe in the front that ties my winch and hanger into the frame.  I'll get a pic when I go pick up the truck, last I heard ORD had it in the shop and they started tearin the old gears out and all the parts have arrived.

ORD just called, it's ready for pick up tomorrow as long as work doesn't get in my way.  Apparently the front 60 diff was 20 thousndths off on the backlash from the factory, So they had to start the set-up over from scratch and get it dialed in on a used gear set, guess it's a pain.

Ran 21 Road with an old friend from work.  Truck did awesome, the stability is great.  The peace of mind of the axle strength is awesome.  My favorite part has to be the turning radius!  My crawler has never turned so tight!  It's awesome, the combo of detroits along with the hydro assist on a 60 makes this truck completely different.  I've never been happier with the rig.  Only gripe is the diff clearance, huge diffs hang up.  I got a bunch to shave off the rear.  As soon as I learned where the diff was on the front I was able to navigate around most everything.
