Hi My name is Óskar (oscar) Andri and I'm from Iceland

I drive a 2007 Toyota Hilux with diesel 3.0 D4-D and 4 spd automatic transmission  :driving: (A340 I believe?) it has 1:4,88 gears ARB air lockers front and rear and its running 38" inch mudders.

Before I had a 94' Hilux/pickup with 22RE engine 5spd manual, 1:5,29 gears, rear E-locker and ARB front locker and also running 38"

I'm hoping one day to install crawler gears with dual transfer case set up to my lux but I need more zeros to my bank account.... (I tried to ask the bank manager if he could ad more zeros to my bank account but he asked me to leave, dont know what the big deal was.... I mean its only zeros...   :dunno:)

Much love for non-USA toyotas. we get the crappy models over here. Be sure to post as many pictures as you can, we love to see how Yotas are used around the world, especially in a harsh environment like Iceland has.  :beerchug:

I guess we just modify our trucks to suit our needs  :)   you (US) need longer suspension and (correct me if I'm wrong) weight and stability are not such a big issue??? we mainly need  bigger tires to have the needed flotation in the snow, lighter trucks and stability is one of our most concerns, we try to do as little lift as possible, instead we cut out fenders, firewalls and even move body mounts to fit the tires. Toyota Hilux, Tacoma, Prado 120 for instance only have 10cm of lift to fit the 38" tires. There are also regulations we must follow for the trucks to be road legal... we are required to have the fender flares and mud flaps...

But we all need marlin crawler  :D       :turtle:
