the cage looks great! but the only thing i dont like is the fact that the cage is welded to the body and the frame. but it looks like he is still using body mounts. I dont see he purpose of body mounts if you cage is welded to the body
The Frontier 4runner cage is not not welded to the body anywhere. The body is cut and the tubes run through it. That truck was the main inspiration for my Courier cage.
I must be missing something then. If you look at the pics, the rear tube that is grafted into the rear fender is welded directly to the rock slider, which is connected to the entire cage. Therefore the body is welded to the cage

When you have a moment it would be cool to see some upclose shots to see what can't be seen. Some pics looking down to the top would be cool.
at what? yeah I see its not connected to the rear bumper, but if you look at the first few pics of this cage that were posted, it looks to me like the fender tube is welded to the sliders
You are correct the fender tubes are welded to the sliders. The sliders are also welded to the body but not the frame.
I was looking at it wrong, I thought you were talking about the "rear tube" that runs along the top of the bed side... My bad
All exo why mess around!!
