I hope to start my on my junk this weekend. Thomas it looks like your rigs coming along. Are you going to have that Hydro figured out before we go? It looks funny with those little 39.5's on it i'm used to seeing it with 42's. I don't have a trailer yet but I think I have a lead on one I need to go to pops house and gut that spare axle so I have a spare inners for MCR. Lots to do still. This getting a new house is putting me behind on my rig.

Yea the night shots were when you guys were coming out of morris.

That snow run was fun, the one before that sucked,  but hey i got damn good at resetting beads.. LOL

There was a ton more pictures of those trips in the snow, but i don't have them.  Cody or thomas must have posted them up.  Im not sure where though.

so plans for today..

-clean out shop
-lower back end by switching shackle mounts
-remove front axle
-pull apart front axle and inspect diff/longs/hubs/
-do homemade 5th stud knuckle kit
-replace all fluids/grease.
-re assemble front axle and put back under the truck

If we could do all that today it would be sick....
And would be almost all our work needed for the mechanical parts.

Lets have that our goal and if we get it done then thats tits, if not we will be closer to our goal anyways!

I never noticed that before it does look like i'm wiping a tear from my eye. Got my axle rebuilt this weekend. Time to start on the rest. Thomas can you believe it only like a few more weeks :clap:can't wait.

For the roundup we might end up parking my truck the night before or so and pulling my diff so we have a spare 5.29, and maybe some other crap if needed...

New yoke for my front driveline
New tube for rear driveline
Clean the mud from last winter out of my beads so my tires quit leaking when I air down
My battery won't hold a charge
RADIO
Pull the axles from the spare axle
get spare u joints
Thats just off the top of my head I think I have a couple more things but the list is getting shorter

Lenny let me look around,  if i can get my old sony stereo deck back from my cousin you can have it..  it was part of a 10disc changer, which we destroyed removing a cd..

But the deck will still function as a radio..  if you want to try that, i can see about getting it.

I already have a stereo but thanks i think my amp is a  I just need to hook up the speakers. Do you know someone with a CHEAP battery. My funds are running low.

Lenny, i need to buy myself an optima battery, so i have one that is sealed.  I do have a pretty new battery in my truck from Napa.  If you want to wait a couple weeks until i can buy myself a new one, then i will sell you my napa one for dirt cheap.

we got a lot done today, the front end is tits, guess the loud popping sound was my hydro line  we need to clean the shop again, clean up and reassemble the front axle, make the 5th stud, maybe a little paint, change all fluids, inspect  rear third and weld on the rear armor, mess with the hydro assist still, make bumpstops, since the new rear setup flexes amazing  and hook up all rock lights, i think thats it, then we can do paint prep!!

So basically we worked on the red x last night, got the rear suspension dialed in, we need to put bumpstops all around though.. But look at this flex.







Pretty impressive, but we need to get the bumpstops on to not negative the springs too bad..
We lowered the back a couple inches to lower the COG since he didnt' need as much height after dropping to 39.5's for the trip.

The shocks in the back limit droop, or so we think..  So we may need to do something about that. 



So how the truck sits right now, i don't know if you can see through the mess, but

We got the front end torn apart.  Going to rebuild the front axle, and we needed to take apart and inspect everything after hearing a loud "POP" while wheeling last time.
Every thing in the front end looked tits.. so we will clean up the axle, and possible rebuild it..






Apparently i took over thomas's job of updating his thread. 



Anyways, tonight, hopefully we can swap out the front leafs, and put the front axle back together and have the front end done.  If that is the case, then all we have left is......

-Fix hydro assist leaks and bleed the system
-pull rear diff, to inspect everything.
-drain/replace all fluids.

Maybe's:
-replace clutch
-body work
-paint.

we did a 5th stud upgrade on one side tonight and partially painted my axle, we keep making more and more work instead of progress, but i am stoked about the 5th stud setup   

mikes got the pics, im sure he will post them up by tomorrow if not tonight, i should let him take over my thread......

thanks again mike for all the help, he has been putting as much work into my truck as i have the last 2 weeks and is pushing me to stay on top of , if it wasnt for you id be half assin it at mcr, but i think we will be legit and big ballin!!

Your lucky Thomas to have someone helping you. Looks like I'll be half assin it. But I'll be there either way. My drivelines are getting done today and I got my radio working last night.   All I have left to do is change my fluids, pull my tires off and get  the mud out of the beads so they will hold air again.   Bleed my brakes, find a CAR TRAILER, pull the axles from the spare axle, get spare u joints, and i think thats it.
