Well, I don't think it will ever be finished

This thread has a 2nd part to it, please direct your browser here:
BigMike's Big Summer Project

What's happening right now?
I traded my Pitbull ROCKERS for a set of 37x12.50x15 MTRs.
I am building a new crossmember.
I am waiting for a dyno tuner to acquire the soft/hardware to reprogram my Unichip computer and get the POS TuRD Supercharger to finally work correctly.
Building a bracket for my V-Twin on board air.

That's about it. I just want to finish this stuff up before the Round Up

Would it be easier to buy a Tacome with the  3RZ and SAS it?  I have the t-cases would have to a get a W56 trans, even if bought an 85 truck, right.

Are there any draw backs to the Tacoma?

I decided not to do it, and instead I removed a leaf from the front pack and installed shorter shackles. My truck is a good 2-inches shorter than it was when I originally built it.

Here are pictures from 3 days ago at the Mountain Transit Authority's Mud'N'Yer Eye Frolic in Hollister, CA:

My truck is REALLY working great. It goes anywhere I point it, I really like how I've got it set up. Only a few small tweaks remaining and it'll pretty much be done. Wow, did I just say that?

I'll get some measurements soon and post em up :D

I have no clue what trails we did. MTA had a complete course laid out with easy to follow red marker signs. We drove past about 30 road signs. I pretty much stopped paying attention after the 3rd one  I did the long & steep hill climb in 4.70:1 3rd gear which was cake.

Your truck is looking really good BigMike, always has been one of my favorites

I had a question for you. I wanted to know if you are still using the same kind of crossmember from this thread?

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=46211.msg587861#msg587861

If so, have you had any problems? Anything you'd do different?
