Actually that is my roommate without the safety glasses on. I always wear mine.
But on a side story, I didn't get anything in my eye while working on my truck, but while riding my bike to ace to get a new wire brush a bug flew in my eye. Oh the irony
:haha:  SEE

weird,  i guess its just the angle of the pic

i found some  .120 wall tube the same inside diam. as my  lift blocks  and sleeved them for strength,  musta been a good idea  cause none of them we damaged in my wreck

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. As I said, the picture is of my roommate, I always wear my safety glasses. When I get back to my computer I will post some pictures of the finished product. Updates tonight? :crossed:

bmxicanrivera

now for the finished product.
First off is the proper safety  with the welding jacket.

Passenger side getting painted

End caps we made. Two washers welded together, and then the gaps are filed in.

then once welded to the truck, they were ground smooth

Then I went and bought some gussets from sdhq to stiffen it up a little.

And finally the finished product.

I have been to busy actually wheelin my truck while the weather was still nice in AZ, so the build up got even slower. But yesterday I scored a set of half doors off of a local ttora member for $75. I guess that is progress.?.?
Anyway here are some pics of the wheelin, and the new half doors.

And some videos for you entertainment

Nice doors, a real score for $75. Now you gotta find a couple of those fat chrome strips to match.

Did you notice in the pic with the dirtbike, the padded armrests?

I was just up in your neck of the woods last week. I was wondering about the Sedona area? I know they have the jeep tours there but thats cool anybody can go wheeling around there.

bmxicanrivera

None  of the trails the jeeps do are really that hard, but you can't beat the scenery of Sedona.
