lumbergeny doors...
« on: Feb 15, 2008, 08:03:54 PM »
Saw this on another board & had to share...   someone put a lot of work into this (but not when cutting a hole for the subs behind the seats) -- and apparently had a seven-year-old write the ad copy.  First time I have heard of lumbergeny doors!  Other nice features include a well-used engine, six screens  :dunno: and leather seats (twice)  :rofl2:

Enjoy...  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/low-reserve-show-ready_W0QQitemZ110223227572QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110223227572

Lambo DOES make one you can afford to buy:

You know, Lambo was originally (and still is) a tractor manufacturer, until he(Mr. L) got pissed at Enzo Ferrari due to some quality/workmanship issues and decided to build his own damn car.

On a subject only related by misspelling...I saw this on another forum, it took me a few minutes to figure it out. At first I thought it may be some kind of Italian speciality steak..."ackelese tendion"...never has anyone needed a dictionary so badly.

Along those same lines, you guys would get a kick out of talking to one of my coworkers.  He helped me go get a trailer today and I told him I was going to start writing down all the different words he's pretty much made up or butchered and make a phillip-ctionary.  I said a long time ago that he butchers the english language worse than most foreigners.  Ofcourse, he's usually saying these kinds of things while trying to work with anooninum

Wow.  TV screens, right in the car?  Wait til the neighbors see this.  Six of them TV screens in what is essentially a two passenger vehicle.  Neat!    :rofl2:

I woulda' stuck with the Shirvallay doors, zipped up a rollcage, added Macho Grande (I'll never get over Macho Grande) brakes and suspension, big steel wheels, a couple big carbon-nators and 180-degree headers.  As my contribution to the truck's legacy of bad grammer, you may refer to it as a NASTRUCK.  Or moonshine hauler  :eyebrow:

He said screens, not sure if they are TV screens, or mebbe screens to keep the flies outta that pos...   :headscratch:

He also says "air bag switches to lift the truck up and down" but methinks the air bags lift it up, and gravity "lifts" it down.   :gap:

Also gotta love those chrome weels!

Thems weels ar hott.  Thay is lik twenes ar sumthin.  Bigg crome weels wil nevar goe owt ov stile.

I don't know 'bout them switches.  I have yet to see a switch that can lift more than, say, three dry Wheat Thins (something like a heavy duty spring-loaded toggle switch might get the job done).  And I'm not sure what to make of the airbags.  I didn't think they had them in 1969.  But it's nice to know the builder had safety in mind when constructing this here vee-hickle.  Hell, it's as safe as any vehicle out there.  It's in such bad taste, it will never actually get driven...thus is impossible to crash.  Volvo should be jealous!

Gawd.  At least it's a solid color and not blessed with any stripes or murals.

Uhh...   I kindly doubt it!  I was actually borned there, but raised up (to a towering 5'7") in the pseudo-Appalachian mountains of North Californy.  We don't have any fambly in the area that I'm aware of.
