clutch wont bleed
« on: Jan 28, 2008, 06:31:44 PM »
clutch will have a little pressure then after holding down for second will lose pressure and sink to the floor causing the truck to take off by itself if in gear with clutch down.  acting like has air in lines, but doesn't because i checked.  replaced the clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, pressure plate, pilot bearing and it still does this.  now it is so bad that I can't even move it around, because I don't want it to get stuck in gear and hit something.  is there anything I am missing?

no, I just put the slave cylinder and tried to bleed it like that. I think I am going to get a new mc and see if that works

Yes.   It sounds like the Clutch M/C.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

i had a tiny crack in the hard line just above the flare closest to slave on the m/c side. does that make any sence? anyways, follow the line and make sure there isnt any cracks or kinks where air can get in.

My buddie ran his taco into my garage. Long story, but he trapped himself between the rocker, and the door, becouse he was standing outside the truck turning the ign on. The truck was in gear and he didn't know it. He was so lucky there wasn't more damage. Now looking back it is pretty funny though. Get that thing lined out before somthing bad happens.
