Pinion Angle Problems

ok well like the title says i got pinion angle problems i need to buy a new front suspension lift but for right now alot of my lift is comming from my shacks which in turn makes my pinion angle look horrible so i was planning on buyin shims but i was wonderin wat would be the most angle i could run to get my pinion angle?? and also i was just thinkin can u put shacks on the front part of ur leef springs? this would also help my pinion angle so ya any comment on the subject would help thnx

cant put shackles on the front of the leafs... but can run a dropped hanger

One end or the other of a leaf spring has to be fixed.

Some people have made the rear of the front springs fixed and mounted the shackles up front like on a Jeep. There are pros and cons on both setups.

Along with the pinion angle, you have to worry about the caster angle on the front end. The more you tilt the pinion the less the caster angle will be on the front wheels which can result in death wobble.

If you go the shim route, get steel shins not cast of any type. Roger Brown will custom make you shims milled from steel stock. Weld them to the spring perches.
