This thread is worthless, I think someone got in over their head. I sent an email about some parts, got a reply and then sent one back the next day. I havent heard anything since then. I dont wanna wait months for parts, ill try to find them local.

I always thought they were quite reasonable.  With $4.00 per gallon gas it's nice to be able to have exactly what I want delivered to my door without the hassle of driving hundreds of miles to umpteen different junkyards to try to find the parts, maybe.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

There are about 10 or so different ones from those years.  Probably best to specify exactly what year/make/model/engine/transmission/cab style, etc

I'm lookin for a 1983 short pickup bed. I have an 84-85 bed to trade that is in pretty good shape. Evidently the original rusted out and someone replaced it with a 84-85.
