I am starting to build up my doublecab. 
The plan is to take off that doublecab boddy and put a 4runner boddy instead
In the same time I will putt a 4link suspencion in the rear and a landcruiser suscpencion in the front.  (spiral suspension)  not (laminated springs).   
The only problem is the steering I belive that I can use Marlins Hi-steering kit but I am not sure that Marlin sends to offshore ??

another prob. the shifter of the second dualcase, I want it to come through the floor in the exactly same place as in this picture

Is it possible for Marlin to make exactly that same system and send it to me ??   (To Iceland)

Im sure Marlin can send stuff to Iceland as hes shipped to Australia many times.  It would be easy to duplicate the shifter setup in the picture you linked.

i also must say that, that double cab is way coller than the 4runner. wish we had those out here. (this is 86runner-sas)

and about 300 l of fuel for every one.  = few pickups, everyone are allways asking me to carry some extra fuel for them, and I am allways a badguy for saying No

ok I got the 4runner home now I am tending on rust and thinking about the best way to modify it.

probl. so far steering.  to many regulations here so I wont go into that here
the 4runner has a 30 cm shorter wheel base than the Hilux 
and a few more minor probl. that will probably sort out later in the progress.

I am trying to find out what year my 4runner is .... Does anyone know about the differences in the years 89-93  what I should look for it has been taken off the record, so  this is the only way for me..... need help pleace.....  It is a 3.0 V6 4runner

Your 4-Runner looks like a 92-93, but seriously, that double cab is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.

I'm not really sure how to tell myself , but I would think some interior pieces would have changed throught the years even if the body style hasn't. I know it don't tell you what but hopefully helps you find something to look for

I am looking for something like that. are there speakers with a orginal amplyfier in the back in all the models.  or something like that?

I have been way to busy at work since I got the runner so there hasn´t been that much work done on it but I have cleared most of the rust and am starting the rebuilding now I have cutted the fire wall in the front for the tires and next up is to reweld the body   

I must start thinking about what kind of setup I will use for flexing so I can order the parts so it will be ready in time.... Any ideas???

wow after the whole week I could add 2 more hours in the runner .... here is the result. Icutted out the left side of the furewall, and started to rebuild it.

There were amplified speakers in the back of my 90 when I bought it. The new body style started in the very last of 1989 over here. I have no idea what the progression was in your area. Do the newer 4-Runner/Surf in your area have the third brake light on the roof? I think they started installing that feature here in 92 or 93.
