for the 54mm  nut on the wheel bearing

I like that idea. Maybe you should put a patent on it as a speciality tool. Marlin could be an authorized dealer

it is just a a short pice of exhaust pipe 2,5" I think. I used a hacksaw to cut into the end of it so I could bend it over the nut. then I just welded it back to gether. and drilled trough it on the other end so I could put a smaller pipe through there to thigthen the nut.

Here is a question for you guys. I am thinking about rear disk brakes. Does Marlin Crawler have any plans for making a kit for these kind of things or do I have to make one miself??

(I will not be dooing this till this summer so I am not in a big hurry)

Haven't heard of marlin crawler making them yet.  but Sky Manufacturing does.  there are also a couple more companies, but don't know the names.

We are starting a new project here in Iceland.........    We are gonna use a 22re engine and a double cab boddy...  coils up front with a soldið axle and arb´s front and rear. The rear will have air shocks for starters and mabe coils later on... We are going for flatbed. And also for laters we will get us a dual t-case and some other need stuff. here are some pics for starters

My truck (hirunner) has Turbo diesel wit a intercooler. But this truck will have the 22re with litle modifications.

sorry guys I haven´t had any time for updates lately. But here is the status on the Hirunner. I have finished painting. finished the coils. I had the hi-steer arms converted for more clearence. I have been working on the engine making some conversions.  and some other stuff. I am working on the hidro assist right now. made some expirements on the popwer steering pump,  I don´t have much time right now but I will hopelly have some time soon.

the front suspension is a range rover/land cruiser mix. with a Little dash of my own creativity called (how the f*** could I mess this up so badly)


I don´t know the colors name (I just pointed to something I liked.)   I can try to figure it out if you are despaired for it .

Bazzi, it is looking great! I like the lights on the roof. In my area the trees would tear them off on the first trail I drove. So we tuck them up under the body here. What is the paperwork on your side window? Do you have to get a permit to modify your truck there?

About the paperwork, These are things that I have to do before I can go trailing.
about the lights. If you get lost in a forest, around here.... just stand up and you know your way out. about the permit for modifying the trucks here.... you have the chose of letting some licensed shop do it for you or have it tested and x-ried like I had to do for the cross over steering arms that I ordered from Marlin. (steering has to be iso tested.) But if you are a John doe with some welding experience and some metall experience you are free to modify you own truck in your own garage, as long you follow the regulations (common seance here in Iceland)

how well do those truxus work over there, many guys use them.  I've got a set of 39.5's and I thought they did really wel in the snow.  How they work over in iceland?

we're did you get those wide fender flares, I really wish sometimes I had some that wide to keep the cops of my back.  I love how you guys do it over there in iceland.  Low lift and huge tires.  Wish I could come wheel with you guys over there and bring a double cab turbo diesel back to the states with me.  Keep the up good work man.

those wide fender flares are made here in Iceland. And I wouldn´t be allowed to drive on the rodes with out them.  I ramped the Hirunner yesterday on a ramp with a 42° slope I got it 180 cm up the ramp that would be around 71 inches. and took a short test trip with a friend of mine that ownes a ´87 4runner with coils and chevi 4,3 under the hood

I bented one of the bars in the rear coils so the truck is back in the garage now.
