Ya know...........with friends like this, who needs enemies!!!  :fakeflip:  You guys are just jealous!!!!! :rofl2:   I have way too much and some of it is going soon!! :crossed:    I passed a dump truck on the Ortega Highway in my watertruck......he was going too slow!!!  :o

I got the rear crossmember built, painted, and reinstalled. The bolts I got for the motor & trans mounts are a little short, so I will get new ones tomorrow.  Once the motor/trans are holding themselve's up I can remove the front axle and suspension.  I cut off the shock hoops. I kinda laid out the back, behind the seats. I think the rear shock mounts are going to cramp the space back there. ::)   More tomorrow!!

P.S.  The Valiant is for sale!
Are you going to shorten the frame and sheetmetal behind the seats for the "super bob" effect? :dunno:

How much for the mopar and what does it include (other than the clean body)? I might know someone interested in a sleeper. :yesnod:

No on the sheetmetal work. I am going to stretch the wheelbase a little bit. Remember I bobbed it 10 inches. The frame will cut off. I need the space for coilover!

On the Valiant, it is a good amount of $$. I am not giving it away thats for sure. I have a motor and a 4 speed for it. I have all of the trim. There are a lot of details. Call me. Wayne has my # if don't have it anymore.

No doubt!!! :talkingn:  This is taking forever!!!! The biggest problem is parts.  I finally went outside yesterday around 11. I took my straight axle hubs apart (was running ifs hubs). I used my wire wheel to clean them up and then shot some paint on them. I started checking the studs that I took out and found a few were screwed up. So I took off to go get some new ones.  4 hours, 6 parts stores later, I finally had them all!! :screwy:  I hope to get the front end together today and maybe under it. If I can beat the rain!!! :crossed:

Got a little bit more done today!!! :woohoo:

Diamonds are forever!!!!

I ground off the old bump stops and the nubs left over from the shock hoops. Then I finished assembling the front end. I am having some issues with the steering. I think I have it cover but I won't know until tomorrow. Then
I have to figure out the links.

That is the dream date!! But there is soo much stuff to do. I am trying to get everything done (suspension , floor, etc., ) before I fire it up. I want to be able to fire it up and take it for a spin....not have to wait on everything else. Everyday I am like .... :smack:.......Oh ya the brake lines....I keep thinking of little things I have to do. I am having clearence issuses with the steering linkage. My tie rod is like 3 inches from the oil pan! :suprised: I am going to have convert to hiems and put the tie rod underneath the high steer arms.  I am trying to get 6inches of compression with a frame height of 26 inches.  That's 3 inches lower then it used to be!!  I think I am going to have to notch the oil pan and the frame for the diff,  in order to get that much compression.  :o   Damn IFS frames!!! :talkingn:     The lower links are tacked together but the frame mount is landing in the same spot as the trans crossmember frame mount!  :headscratch:   The wardon layed the smack down last night and said finish the gate!!! So I am going to do that and try to get the lower links put on today  :crossed:

There are plenty of seats available for the 22nd. :) Keep up the good work (but we need more pics :psss:). You could try this with the warden http://static.flickr.com/27/45718334_bcd57b061b.jpg but I would advise against it. :ha_ha:
