toyminator2000 There has to be dumb people in order for there to be smart people
could weld the front and unlock 1 hub when you need to. just an idea, dont know anybody thats tried it before.
Do not weld if your going to drive it on the street alot. It wont be fun when turning.
most people dont drive on the street with 4wd though.......I have seen a few welded fronts on the trail...can kill ya on sidehills sometimes if ya start slipping....also, it gets lame waiting behind a welded truck on tight trails cuz they make like 50 point turns.. just my experience
having ross foundation flashbacks
What do you guys recommend for a cheap reliable locker that is good for a dd. my friend is running a true trax in his its a 5oo$ locker but it works good and it wratchets for turning
Put a spool in the front and either an ARB or an Elocker in the rear. The selectable in the rear will help with turning on the trail and will keep down tire wear on the asphalt.
a spool is a full possy part no ?'s about it. even with your hubs unlocked it will still be locked so it wont well at all u wana run an arb up front and rear if your made of money. if not detroit in the rear and arb front. still expensive either way..
i undestand with the hubs unlocked you be fine but what about when they are locked and you are on the trail and you have to make some tight turnsit aint g2 happen. unless you have full hydro or ram assist wouldnt it be hard??maybe you might be right tho. are you open open or locked??
