this was the first time i'd been out in over a year...4/5 per stand and then the damn thing jammed on me...I got that fixed and then lasted till the top 5 in the money shoot.

and here is some GSR and a dissassembled Browning, just for Chris

I'm on the other end.  I suck with a scatter gun, I'd be more likely to kill 2 out of 100 clays :haha:

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

practice makes perfect and just lead and follow through and keep your eyes open

Duff, last time we went shootin clays my smith&wesson pump started jamming after about 80 shells.  It's butter smooth otherwise and makes my 870 feel like the huffy bicycle of shotguns, but it just didn't like the heat of so many rounds.  I have a little youth/ladies 870 20 ga. (yea, I'm little and it fits well :gap: ) which is an fn kick for quail, dove or pigeon, any fast darty bird, but sneeze on the thing and the moisture swells the forened and I'm :mad3: cause I can't thingy it!

Jud, that's super cool!  I've wanted to shoot a pig for a loooong time but haven't found any around here.  I've found sign, even found where one laid down in a muddy creek bank once, just never seen one.  Pig and pronghorn antelope are very high on my hit list

it's nothing like that; my own fault if anything..I haven't cleaned it since the last time I went shooting.  I also need to replace a lever in the trigger assy, as it has a hole that has become egg shaped.  I got the thing from my dad, and he had put it back together wrong...I fixed part of it, but not the lever.

Hey Nate, there is spot near us that is supposed to be pretty good for pigs. Let me know if you want to go check it out this winter. I've been trying to get down there for a few years but haven't made it yet.
I'm not as good as I once was, but, I'm as good once as I ever was.

Cool, I'm cutting wood tomorrow, the ranch I'll be on is loaded with pigs. Hopefully my load of wood will topped with a pig or two.

Hooollllly :pokinit: :yikes:  There are 3 kinds of blacktails to me; 1-no way I'm gonna shoot you, 2-I have to think about it, which pretty much means no, and 3-monster, no thought involved.  Yours is #3!  Kinda looks like it might be in an area where it potentially has a little mulie dna :dunno:
