I vote duals or 4.7's. Transfercase gearing is life changing.

lol i crack myself up when im bored as :pokinit:

but the rear updates:

got floor mats from buddy, attempted to cap part of my exhaust, im over the dual tips, its pretty dumb for a 4 banger, and i got my sliders welded on, ill have my bumper welded on tomorrow as well, hooked up my 6x9s to bump with my nigga beats, now my shiz sounds pretty okay, nothin to raise an eye brow over, but i got that shiz in...not much more to do before the fordyce trip, i just need to get my bumper and save up for food basically. im gunna run with stock gears, single case, open rear, locked front, and 37's, with jack :pokinit: for wheel time on the trail so we will see how it goes

That trail isnt that hard dood. theres plenty of bypasses.

I did it in my 81 with just a rear locker and yeah i had some problems but it was fine. I did have 5.29s though too... but still.

Think of all the stock jeeps that go thru there. theres a lot of stacked rocks but theres plenty of people to get thru so it shouldnt be that bad

I did it a couple years ago with opens difs, stock gears, and 35's.  burned up my clutch pretty good.  lockers would have helped a lot.  just thinking he should have his truck built as much as possible.  some of the bypasses aren't that easy either.

Yeah true...

Especially about the bypasses. I think the bypass to winch hill 1 is almost harder then the hill itself

yeah i was seriously thinking about talking to you about that... i could get garrets engine hoist but that means moving that 88 back to the front (not hard at all, just a pain in my ass)... speaking of which im going to go rip apart the rear drums and get my rear shaft swap ready so i have 6 lugs and 6 nuts on ALL my wheels

and im getting my bumper finished today, as well as the lil gap on my sliders... hopefully all done before noon and then its creek time

Edit:

took rock light pic last night, super stoked on how they turned out... also took slider pics last night also

ill post them here when im done loading them up... give me a minutes

its as easy as just pulling it where it is and loading it in the back of a truck and bringing it to the front. its not like u need to part truck next to yours
