Hows the rubbage with stock fenders and 37s? I had some slight rubbage with 35s so I just hacked about 2-2.5" out of my fenders

dilemma:

i know that running 4.10's with 37s and a single stock t-case isnt ideal in any situation no matter how you look at it. so here is my ? for the fordyce run at the end of the month and forever after

do i sell my body (human body.. joke haha) and make 433.66 for 5.29's (f/r out the door) or do i keep the 4.10s, work my ass off doing stupid :pokinit: and spend 621.00 on a dual adaptor and a rebuilt DL??

Edit: or spend 400 on a 4.7 gearset kit?

or should i just not buy anything and run it how it is right now?

I dont get it man, how can you sell off your body?  Are you talkin about your parts rig?   if you are why not just get rid of it.  But if you can bust balls and get the adapter and rebuild it may be worth it.  Or better yet both, sell the body bust balls and finnish your rig out!!
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

X2 I take that back. Axle gears 1st. Forgot you are running 37's.

noted and i didnt know the DL was 60... i was told they are about 200 :dunno:
Average around $200 for both DL's.

Yeah

Not really. I did fordyce in my 81 with just a rear locker open front and no duals. I did have 5.29s but I still did it. I hardly ever needed a tug also. Only time I really did was winch hill two where its all slippery. That was also the first time i ever went rock crawling too.

Well to each is own if it was up to me, I would go with 4.7s as a priority over stock duals or 529s. just my  :twocents:

youd be suprised aj how much a difference your 4 low will be if you regear the diffs.... if you can only afford that do it. once i again i rocked no duals for 3 1/2 years. you can make it happen. its just a little more difficult. whatever money allows just get what you can.
