I was wondering if the T-case from a 91ish? truck is the same as a stock 85?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

depends  on what tranny it was  attached to


is the 85 a efi  or carb??

is the 91 a 22RE  or v6 ??

The 85 is a stock 5 spd, carb'd
the 91 was a 22re

the 91 was a 22re
85 carb is a G54,  that means a forward shift tcase, geardrive,
91 has a  forward shift also, W56C,   i THINK  they have different length shift arms,  but  they are the same more or less,

Cool, as long as it will work in my 85. I'd like to get a 4.7 set up but i'm in the process of planning a wedding and buying a house so that isn't really in the budget right now and the t-case from the 91 was free.

only problem you MIGHT have  is the shift rails being different lengths
