Just a reminder to everyone going to MCR to pack out what you brought in.

Here are some toilet systems you can buy, or you can go with the old 5 gallon bucket and a safeway bag style.

Thankyou MiniSimp.

I want to challenge everyone who reads this to pack out more trash than what they brought in with them.

just an FYI, Walmart does have travel toilets, the poopbags (the ones that have chems in it to keep them from stinking?  :dunno: ) etc. in their camping section.  There is no excuse not to have one.

I was going to order the WAG-Bags, but the toilets seem like much, just seems more discreet without the big toilet in hand.  thoughts anyone??   :dunno:

and a container to place them in.

I've got the plastic toilet from PETT and it works fine, holds my fat ass anyways. As for being descrete, poop in your tent. :twocents:

Thanks again today.  :yesnod:

I'll just have to make sure I don't fall over in my tent.  :haha:

so yea, i was having a converstion in the shoutbox (mostly with myself) and it seems there is serious demand for these poo-box things! First off these things could be made out of recycled Johnny-on-the-spots (to appease the Greenies), LED lights for night pooping, a multitude of colors including special "kid" prints (think Barney and Power Rangers), designer patterns (for the ladies, u know like Gucci or Burberry), and of course guys prints (in Camo or your favorite Nascar driver #) What about scents built in to the box? Maybe a little Lysol dispenser on the side...plus a built in TP holder

brb :toilet:

EDIT: seems there is also interest in built in speakers and possibly a flip down LCD monitor with wireless intardweb

Thats what they're called!!!  I forgot.  Walmart has the wag-bags   Instead of buying the toilet, I got a 5 gallon bucket and a painter's lid for it (outer edge of the lid clicks on, and has an easy turn center section)  I would assume it would have worked great, but nobody in my rig :toilet: until we got to the springs.

I put wag bags in my poo box.

Lady Di

you don't poo in the box, it's just for storing the bags till you get home. The WAG bags have an odor eliminator as well.

Oh...k...so you wouldn't wanna attach a terlet seat to the poo box and settle in for the long haul?

Since this is such a big issue and I wanted to be one of the cool kids, I put together a little "kit" for myself.  Fortunately I have everything labeled properly!   :disturbed:
