We honor him on the day he died...on the can with his purple velour sweat pants bunched around his ankles trying to pass that last peanut butter and banana sandwich!

I was listening to the XM trucker station on the way home, taking about the vigil that was there for him, in ridiculous heat and I couldn't help but wonder... did they serve them fried PB and nanner sammiches in his honor for the masses?

It used to piss off my friends in Nashville to no end that I didn't think Elvis was a god, hate NASCAR, think Dale Earnhardt sucked, didn't know how to play freebird and hate Willy Nelson (I'm an odd Southerner!).

and I don't like collard greens!

Once my wife conned me in to going to Graceland while we were in Memphis...I was soooo scared someone I knew would see me. Thank God she was a tightwad and didn't want to pay the (freakishly high) admission...we could've gone to Opryland (yep!) for the same price.

Uhhhh, are you having a "senior" moment? I have nothing to do with restaurants...Rocksurfer. I suppose it's not too bad, we are in the same state.

Been to Graceland twice.  Elvis was a tacky mother mother. They walk you past the bathroom its at the racketball court area and give you this nice story about how he was playing sports and music with his buddies then went into the restroom and passed away.  They seem to forget to mention anything about the drugs  :dunno:

I've been to Phx twice in the last month or so...only it was very unhappy business and I couldn't drop into your establishment. His should be open in a month (?).
