Where is he pump mounted? I hope it isn't in the tank.

I have seen the Nissan pumps varnish up the armature and loose power. Also there is a check valve that the spring used to unscrew it's self out of the check valve. This would cause  hard start problem because the gas always return to the tank.

Kragens has a fuel pump for $48 for the electronic fuel pump

It's not mechanical right?

Also the pressure was 18psi before the fuel filter with the key at "ON" not running.

Willy Mammoth

Yea, EFI = ecletronic.

I think you have varnish on your amrature from sitting so long.

I would drain the tank and clean it out. Then put new hightest in the first time.

:haha: Sounds to me like she has his priorities in perfect order.
It ain't worth doin' if you don't have to clean up afterwards!

Build it, break it, fix it, repeat until your wallet is empty.

Yes I do have my priorities in order, 1. Wife 2. Truck

Please identify this fuel pump it came out of my fuel tank but might not be from the year/model of my truck.  The diameter is approx. 1 1/4" approx 4" total length.  The ground screw is larger then the power screw.

Has a part number of 939PE351M however wasn't able to find a match.

Rex please chime in....... :dunno:

My haynes manual (1992 edition) shows diagrams of a pump looking just like that for all efi models. pretty sure that all efi used the same one.

wow, page 6 already!

Called Duffil and found out it is a replacement fuel pump, but not an OEM replacement.
Got the OEM from Kracken for $190 after tax! :yikes: Oh well though, at this point I just want to get it running. I'll put it in tomorrow morning and post up. :yesnod:
