Update with new parts going in the truck.
4.3l Chevy v6 700r4 with a toy tcase. 

The tired 22r and tranny all ready to be pulled and shipped to Guatemala. (not joking)

I love how the front clip just moves to the shead after 4 bolts are removed

Look in the 4 sale section.  There was one on here maybe a month ago and it was fairly cheap compared to what they cost new.

I forgot to undo the shifters and ripped them right out of the rubber boots. O well a new tunnel is going to be made and a floor shifter is going in.
Look at the little space I have to stuff a v6 into.

Do yourself a favor before you put anything in beat the firewall back with a BFH.  Everything works a lot easier that way.

If I remember right I beat mine under that pinch seem near the two plugs above the transmission tunnel.  I will look at it this weekend and let you know for sure.

Also if you are using tall valve covers (for roller rockers) you will need to beat the firewall aroundwhere they will be.

For the people that are wiring illiterate, I will be doing a full write up on the toy to 4.3l using the wiring harness out of the the donor vehicle.  What wires to keep and what ones to toss out. I Haven't seen anyone do a full write up yet so I will.

Haha Its the extra trusing for the streering to keep it from bending.
I am starting the tranny tunnel today going for a flat bottom. Before the 4.3l goes in.

Started in on the tranny tunnel today. The cold play a major part in get all the tar off the floor. An hour with the sand hammer and a chizzel got all of the drivers side done. I will rino-line it when it heats up a bit.

Went shopping today. I got a trans pak and a few other goodies.
As I was walking out of summit I found the radiator for $120 in the bargin isle.  saving me 60 bucks.

The shifter handle is a 1911 .45 cal barrel. I added a 1.250 carb spacer and a some jic 6 fittings for the carb.
