I also finished the fuel lines. I hope i can fire it up tomorrow  :driving:
Looks good, I also did my fuel lines, pump and filter today. Turns out that the lines I got say "not for fuel injection systems", but oh well....Not pulling them unless I have to. You run your radiator in the bed right? Do you have any pics of this set up? I like that red line!!

I haven't gotten that far yet on the radiator, soon. The red line was 30 bucks for 30 feet. Thats Napa's cost! I think it runs $3.50 a foot. 140psi 3/8s fuel line. Bling!! Your 4.3l harness will be done Tuesday. I welded up a oil filter bracket and got it installed.

I'm hoping to have almost a gallon and a half of oil in the system.  :rockingout:
What oil filter holds a quart and a half and is 18mm x 1.5 thread?

I can say that today is a good day the truck RUNS
 The 4.3l started right up. Deafeningly loud, no engine codes, or leaks yet. I ran it for a minute or two to get oil flowing. Radiator mounts and tubes to the back are next the tcase cross member and testing it out on the trail. :driving:

Colt

:willynilly: it runs! excellent! Isn`t it a good feeling?  :eyebrow:

So much stress is gone because it does run and my wiring is perfect. Except the oil light being on So I think it is time for a mechanical sweeper. The oil pressure sender dosen't have enough resistance to turn the light off. Well I will see if I can run a after market gage.

Your harness is almost done!
Almost done doing the radiator mounts. I took the for sale sign out of the yard and used it for the fan shroud then attached the ford taurus fan to it I think it came out nice.

Started the mounts on the truck for the radiator.

the top hose is a pain to take off strait up and down. So i angled it a bit. It looks cooler this way.

THK Matt

Hey Matt, Think the fan and rad thickness is ok to run up front?
I can't find cheap hose...That sounds awesome!!
I just can't see spending over 100 for hose to run in the rear...I would like to, but that is more than I want to spend.

We have the same rad, tranny cooler and soon to be fan...Think it will fit.
I still need to go pull a fan from the bone yard.
