Thought this would be fun

Unfortunately it only works using MS IE (if you want to use FireFox, you'll need the IE TAB extension).

Load up this page:
http://pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/pitstop.asp

It might ask to install an Active Script, do it.

Then click on the "Ready? Let's go!" Link to begin. :burnout:

After the test has completed it will ask for some geographical info which is optional, so just click the Go button at the bottom.

At the bottom of the next screen it says "Your Score? Click Here" and click there for your score!

Reply back with the following:

1. Computer Type (Laptop or Desktop)
2. Basic specs of your computer:
3. Weighted Processor Score:
4. Weighted Memory Score:
5. Weighted Video 2D Score:
6. Weighted Uncached Disk I/O:
7. Total Weighted Score:

For Steps 3-7 you could just take a screen shot of the score if you can

Wow, my Celeron 2.4 P4 beat out your non-Celeron 2.4 P4.... that is really strange.

I have no other programs opened, I think 22 or 23 processes loaded into Win XP Pro, idle processor is between 0-2% ...........

I'm tempted to run this on our VMware box that has 2 3.4 GHz dual core Xeons and 2 GB of ram (for one virtual machine). I'll see if I can.

So I lied, it's only 2.8 Ghz. But it looks like I still win.  :king:

1. Portal server. 1 of 4 virtual machines running on one VMWare box.
2. 2x2.8 Ghz Intel Dual Core Xeons. 4 GB of ram, 120 GB on 3 15K SCSI drives in Raid5 configuration (all for this VM).

DUDE! That is awesome! I didn't think about our server machine, it's got dual Xeon processors as well ;)

I can't get this sucker to run. It makes it past all the graphics tests then shuts down during the software config test. I shut off my Norton's, my Zone Alarm and all my IE add ons.  :dunno:

Well I lied too, ours is only a Single processor and didn't seem to do so well!!

1. Desktop Server
2. Intel Xeon @ 3200 MHz, 2 GB RAM, RADEON 7000 Series

It did do well however against other similar systems!
Your system score of 97 indicates that 3 percent of all systems tested at PC Pitstop had a higher clock speed than your computer. Higher numbers are better of course, with 100
meaning it's in the top 1 percent of all the systems we've tested."
