At one point I had over 3000 posts, then I wished for no posts and some cranky person took me seriously and deleted all my post count!

It was horrible, I was a lowley noob again, even had to check in again.

:psss: I think BigMike was behind it...he's always had it out for me...

Three reasons why Chit Chat Posts are not counted:

1) Earn your posts by responding to tech questions in stead of chit chat.

2) Prevents new members from quickly padding themselves with useless posts in order to participate in the classified section.

3) Prevents members from being post mongers.
I understand that. But I'm curiuos that when we ask to have something deleted to help with clutter in the system, why should anyone that posted to that thread have their post numbers go down?

Because post count numbers don't matter.
Not even a little bit.
You get nothing special for having a high post count.
Knowlege is all that matters here.
DirtySkiveys (Paul) has an extremely low post count, but he is one of the best fabricators & welders that I know.

RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!
