i like 4 runners more..... but i think that wheeling a first gen and actually using it that a easier setup would be the first gen.... its just more friendly to all the stuff you wnat to do to it.... also if smog plays an issue, it will probably be easier to smog it than an 89-95 truck....

1st gen, 4.3 and some 42's. Booo on the MTR's. Everyone I see or know who wheels them at the Hammers has a plug or 50 in the side walls.

Side note....this desert over here is really hot, 118 to 120 yesterday  :shake:

How about going really old school and run a Stout with a 4.3? I saw a really clean one in Banning (totally stock) for $800. :twocents:

1st gen are cool but, I like a little more room with an extra cab and I also like the longer wheelbase.  I guess you can put D60's where ever you want to.  I you are not set on an engine I would go V8.  Just for the extra fun to and from the trails!  Iroks would be my pic on tread.  I like exo's

OK so you didn't like the Stout idea and you are leaning toward a 1st gen.  :headscratch: How about a T-100? Here is one locally  (:shhh: don't tell Peps) http://www.race-dezert.com/cgi-bin/trader/atl.cgi?ct=2&mct=&md=second&id=28587

So I asked him ok whats the bottom line he responded with $4000.00 is the bottom line I      at him and said good luck seeing how that truck hasnt moved in about 3 years what a :idiot:

How about an FJ40?  Already got the 350/465/205.  It needs the crossmembers re-done and an axle/brake upgrade/swap.  Price is negotiable.
