Got this just a little while back cause I really like 40's but now my 4runner needs tires and I've realized that I can only afford one project right now.

Body tub & fenders in very good condition.  Paint is even decent with a few chips, but still very serviceable.  I was told by the PO that the roll cage and the roof are from a different year.  They are just sitting there and aren't bolted down at all.  The top sides are in fair shape while the roof section itself looks poor (fiberglass is warped).

Chevy 350 carbed / SM465 / NP205 drivetrain.  Runs good. 32x11.50x15 tires.  Spring under, unknown springs or lift.

Stock Cruiser axles.  No idea on gears or lockers, but I assume stock/none.

The 4 wheel drum brakes are in bad shape.  I installed a new master cyl, but have since found at least 3 wheel cylinders with stuck pistons.  It currently will run & drive for about 15-20minutes (good enough for a test drive) but then the brakes start sticking/dragging.  I intend to keep working on getting it fixed but if I can find anybody interested in it as is, I'd be happy to let it go.  If I were keeping it I'd do a full disk upgrade but since I'm not I'm only going to try to get it functional.

This is a nice, clean Cruiser that just needs a little work to be a nice daily or light trail rig.

Currently located in Riverside, SoCal.

Asking $4500 OBO

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

I replaced the rear wheel cylinders.  The brakes work now but, no more sticking, butl a little squishy.  Probably just needs some more adjusting.  I'll try to get this done.
