MCR5 DVD
« on: May 19, 2007, 07:19:54 AM »
OK, I found a shareware program that converts mov files to avi files. Very simple to use too!
I converted the clip of Mark on the soupbowl to AVI and can incorporate it into my boring movie.
MAYBE I'll have a finished product here shortly.
I'll try to get it out before MCR6 LOL!

I need to add some music to it or something. It's really not interesting to anyone but the people we rode with.
It will be better with the soup bowl video but still...I wish I had mini's tapes too. He had the camera mounted in his truck.
I was holding mine and to conserve batteries I did not have the LCD screen open, I have a lot of shots of the inside of the Mammoth and windshield frame.
I am going to have a buttload of batteries this year, we'll be sure to have a way to charge them other then plugging in the camera too.

Thanks yeller. I know how that can be, that's why I try to label everything at the time, when I put it in the camera, not after. You never remember later.

Has anyone used this RAD video tool for converting .mov files to .avi? seems pretty cool so far.

Oh.. but wait .. he's right, all the girls were running around with no stickers on!

  We could finance our MCR6 roadtrip by pre-selling copies of MCR5 Girls Gone Wild!! LIMITED EDITION.. GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN!
I'll say they're on back order pending recieving the Lost Tapes of Mini, cause, of course, he has all the good footage, the really dirty footage, and by the time y'all get your DVD's we'll be well clear of Cali

Brilliant!!
