Check out these neat little trucks
« on: Apr 09, 2007, 06:04:34 PM »
These folks posted on craigslist, and I usually flag businesses but thought I'd pass this on.  Not to help them sell anything, but just because I've always liked these little trucks.  I know somebody who has a couple daihatsus, somebody semi local supposedly has a grip of the older subarus, and I've seen the toyotas on ebay.  I could actually see these being very useful for a nursery owner.

That would be cool to put one of those cabs on a Toyota frame. Then you'll have a Mini-Mog

A buddy of mine has wheeled one of these.  He said it went more places than his sidekick went that has a calmini lift!  A local farmer is selling these!  What the ad doesn't say is that they are governed to 25 mph.  Here is another page from our local with a little more info!

The site says some of them are capable of 55mph, not 25mph :dunno:

I was told that they are capable of 55 but are governed to 25.  Buddy showed me how they ungoverned the one he wheeled.  It's a plate that blocks out the 4th and 5th gear slots for the gear shift!

Someone should put a Gixxer motor in one

Tell you what, you buy one and we can put my vfr800 engine in it :gap:  It'll sound like a mini v8 and pull like a sombitch
