By being well acuainted with the skinny,plus it's a 40+ year old axle...Hey,I can break a steel ball in a rubber room

ya the steel is very old and not as good as todays metals. plus its a birfield type style joint. when you upgrade to the newer metal and the ujoint style overson shafts, then!, that is when you can try this all day long http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t32kjYzP4R4

Tim Florian's rig has custom made 2" shafts   

THAT.. is why he can beat on it that hard and not worry.


Pep's you plan on running 35 spline outers?  you'll notice a diff in size as appose to those tiny 30 spliners

Dude I've seen Tim hammer on that buggy in person and boy does that engine sound healthy.Here's a pic I took of him going up backdoor and I swear he had no idea what "crawling" was that night  full throttle and that thing sounded like a monster truck.I plan on running it as it is for now.I'll upgrade after I brake,at this point I just wanna get this thing out on the trail.
