No resources,LOL...We really only have 1 worker and he's working on a magazine FJ right now.Besides,we're really not allowed to work on our junk exept for on our lunch breaks,there's only 2 of us that answer the phones and If I worked on my Terry would get swamped,and now it's starting to look REALLY shady because of registration.I haven't got around to registering it and it's on a non-op right now and I asked on the official MCR thread and some dude said my truck would probably get impounded.

peps FFC wheeled last year on a red temp tag and it works. tell the dmv you need the red temp tag to go get it smogged or hell just take the plates off and turn them in and they will give you a green sticker if your fees are all paid up. You will have to pay the green sticker fees and it is difficult to get it back to street tags but that will work.

Thanx guys,guess I'll have to give that a shot.Thing is,as it is now I'm just barely gonna have time to get SOME of the stuff done on my rig(allready gave up on some things)and I don't know if I'll get around to going to the DMV.  .I was a little short on cash and my wife offered to let me take her ATM for gas,so that's cool

Thanx Jim,I'm sometimes easily convinced and everyone keeps telling me to just go and not worry about it but after seeing your reply it makes me think twice...So now I'm leaning towards not going at all.

Unfortunately, in CA, the new law is you can't get your tags, temporary or not, without insurance.

I'm not stringing anyone along,I REALLY DO wanna go,and I'm still trying.Fun In The Dessert is whatever,not as exighted about that one.

Gonna paint it,it's amongst one of the MANY MANY things I have to do still:

Oil pan
Tie Rod
Bolt seats in
Get harnesses
Change the Kingpins and wheel bearings on the front axle
bolt in rear shocks
paint the cage & undercarriage
finish spare tire mount & stinger
Buy & install rock lights
Buy a stereo & a CB
weld in my rock sliders
figure out why my cases are leaking(may not do that till after)
Adjust brakes
put in firewall plate
plate arount the shifters(big hole)
change oil(may not get around to that)

I Have part of Saturday,and Mon-Thur of next week on my lunch breaks at work to do all of this.
