yeah 4" lift block is the only way to go
just kidding
no i had the pas. side perches boxed in for strength and it also gave me .5" longer perch. but if i could do it again i would probably cut off the bottom perch and box in the top perch. one less thing to snag on
good times

that is what I was thinking, or mayby just leave a couple welds to hold the ubols in place,  That perch is a rock catcher..  But awesome work it looks great.

havik

what i was thinking was running .25 plate from the perch down to the axle tube. make it just wide enough to hold the ubolts in place. box it all in and make it look sexy

picked up my rear drive line today. it was a v6 3rd gen out of a standard cab but it was 2" to long so i had them shorten it and use some heavier stuff for the tube. i still have to paint it.

i got the steel to make the front drive shaft but i didnt think about the cv so now i have to cut it down a little. or i can just use a regular u joint instead of the cv? iam not sure yet

havik

the steering is in but not completly done. just in

havik

all the guys at the shop were freakin about how soft the suspension is. right now it has no shocks so if i let out the clutch hard the torqe twists up the body. it feels cool inside. but they were trippin. "why does your axle do that?" "its about to break!!"
it was funny

If you have dual cases I sugest ditching the cv in the front. I run a square front shaft (no cv) and I used my cv in the back to rotate the pinion up out of the rocks. I like the cup holders, I have to get me some of those.
