this is true but you would have to be a jerk to lie about being in the military just to save a little more than tax.

That, and I imagine a lot of military members that order are on here, and its pretty common knowledge who is and who isn't

1.5 back on the 5in long travel allpros is what i ran on mine and they seem to have a good shackle angle.

i have been playing with the idea of instead of cutting off my front spring hanger. swapping out my top 2 leafs from my stock rears to my allpro fronts. probably wont but iam thinkin about it

tonight was a good night. we were able to work for a few hours and get a few things done. rick suprised me today by bringing in some .25 plate for the sliders so we made up some cardboard mock ups and then made the real things. i forgot my camera today so no pix till tomorrow night. we only got one side done tonight but its 100% done. looks killer. tomorrow when we do the other side i will get some pix. also i was talked out of making a custom leaf pack and just cutting off the front hanger. i was able to salvage the hanger so tomorrow it should get welded back on. in the right location.
hopefully tomorrow we can get the rear hung as well. and maybe by sunday it will be sittin on the tires
good times

today was another good day.
got up early and went to the shop to get some work done. the day started off with finishing both hanger sliders. they look sweet. i cant wait to try them out :eyebrow:
then it was on to welding up the shackle hangers. this like the rest of the build was harder than i thaught it was going to be. i got one side easy the other took a little more time. but they were good times
got the axle hung/put on the tires and let it sit on its own weight.
bla......bla..... bla
on to the pix

this is the rear shackle angle. i will see how it settles in but right now i plan on moving the shackle hanger in .25" to get a better angle. its in the 20* range right now but iam looking more for 30*.
thats mid 20's with 200ish lbs in the rear.

havik

oh yeah check how far back my hanger had to be.  :headscratch:
but its 44" from shackle to hanger bolt hole and the hole is right under the body mount bolt :dunno:

havik

got my sky rear shock mount cut down
i dont recomend buying this part. for sure not worth the money. the bends are uneven, i already had the rear shock mount for the axle so they gave me $4.00 off . i know the little tabs and 2 bolts are cheap but i also know they cost more than $4.00
it has to be cut to fit. for $80 i want it to put its self in. oh well my bad. i should have just made my own out of 2x2 and some bolts. at least then i could have had muliti shock locations. iam not whining just sayin if you are thinkin about getting one of these save your money and make your own. not worth it.
